About Me

Let me introduce myself.

I’m a Junior Data Analyst based in Bicester, Oxfordshire with hands-on experience in data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, and dashboard development using SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau. I recently achieved the CompTIA Data+ certification and have built projects across retail, financial, and public datasets, transforming raw data into actionable insights.
With over 30 years of experience in problem solving, stakeholder communication, and project delivery from a self-employed background, I bring a strong business-focused perspective to data analysis. I am now focused on delivering data-driven insights and progressing into a Business Intelligence and Business Analyst career path.

Project Overview: Amos Giftware is a retail company that sells gifts and cards. The project involved analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Analysis: Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)

Tools Used: Jupyter Notebook, Power BI, Draw.io

Key Results: Identified seasonal sales trends, Revealed the top performing product categories driving the majority of revenue, Highlighted the under performing products with the potential for optimisation or removal, Built a dashboard enabling clear visual tracking of the sales performance over time.

Project Overview: McDonalds KPI Management is a project to analyze and visualize key performance indicators for McDonalds restaurants. The project involved creating dashboards and reports to help management make data-driven decisions.

Key Results: Designed an interactive KPI dashboard that tracks sales, efficiency, and operational performance, I dentified trends in the key metrics, supporting the data driven decision making.

Project Overview: UK Raptor Crimes Analysis is a project to analyze and visualize data on crimes involving birds of prey in the UK. The project involved creating dashboards and reports to help conservationists and law enforcement agencies understand the trends and patterns in raptor crimes.

Analysis: Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) & Dashboard Creation

Tools Used: MySQL Workbench, Tableau

Key Results: Identified geographic hotspots of reported incidents across the UK, Highlighted the trends over time, showing the changes in report patterns, Created a dashboard to visualise the crime locations & frquency, Provided insights that can support conservation groups & enforcement agencies.
